“Audio timelapse”: 3 years of child language in 7 minutes (Recordings #3 and #4)
Snap your fingers, blink your eyes twice…and hot, sticky baby July has vanished into crisp, ombre-treed October. My maternity leave ended in August, and between work/infant/ kindergartener/other life duties, personal time has been like the periwinkle unicorns that breakdance in my front yard (that’s to say, exceedingly rare). So I hope you’ll forgive my delay.
Continuing with the “Ryden audio-lapse” effort (see first and second posts), below are recordings #3 and #4. Recording #3 focuses on colors, and in recording #4 we talk about my son’s favorite foods.
There will be one more post in this series, with recorded conversations about toys and books – as well as, finally, my observations on the project.
Happy listening!
P.S. You may want to adjust your volume throughout the recording, as it varies, along with the audio quality, between each half-year segment.
